 – Says Baba Bilesanmi Remains the Most Humble and Approachable Shepherd in CCC Worldwide

It is with great joy that I congratulate you, AMSE E.O Bilesanmi, on this divine elevation as one of the authorized delegates with administrative and spiritual duties, duly appointed by His Eminence, Rev. EMF Oshoffa, Pastor and Supreme Head, CCC Worldwide, to function in his stead as he embarks on pastoral duties overseas. My hearty congratulations to you, Sir.

You remain the most humble and approachable shepherd I have ever seen and met in CCC worldwide.

Baba, I got to know you upon your transfer to CCC Agunloye Cathedral, Akure as Shepherd some years back, while I was then serving as the Youth Coordinator and also as one of the Secretaries. I was immediately fascinated by your down-to-earth and jovial attitude. You were so unassuming and easily accessible, skilled in playing instruments and full of wisdom.

Basically, it is never a surprise that you were among the prominent Shepherds appointed to stand in for His Eminence, Rev. EMF Oshoffa. Your life of dedication to God Almighty and humanity inspires all of us. You lead with love, and you point everyone to Christ. That is the mark of a true Shepherd.

May God continue to preserve you, and may He reward every sacrifice you have made in His vineyard with divine health, longevity, and prosperity.

Psalm 84:11 says: "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor."

Congratulations once again, Sir — you truly deserve this elevation. A great man of God.

Baba Bilesanmi, greater heights await you. I look forward to meeting with you very soon.

To this end, I extend my hearty congratulations to the other highly revered Shepherds appointed for this divine assignment, while I wish His Eminence, Rev. EMF Oshoffa, a blissful and fruitful stay abroad.

Hon. Goke Williams Celebrates Prof. Olu-Aderounmu at 80

— Describes Him as Octogenarian Titan It is my profound honor to celebrate eighty years of a life lived with purpose, vision, and unwavering commitment to service. Professor William Olusola Olu-Aderounmu is not just a name in Nigerian academia — he is a pioneering spirit, a builder of enduring institutions, and a dependable beacon of excellence whose influence cuts across two continents and many generations. His simplicity and humility are, in themselves, a veritable encyclopaedia — worthy of study. A Journey Rooted in Akure, Blossomed Across the World Born in 1946 in Akure, the capital city of Ondo State, his intellectual promise emerged early at St. John’s Anglican Primary School and Oyemekun Grammar School, both in Akure. His academic brilliance earned him scholarship opportunities across the Atlantic, where he obtained degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Zoology, and Education — a sterling combination — from universities in Texas. He was a pillar, a builder, and a friend to all. The Principal of the 'Only School', eulogized the departed soul, who belonged to the second set, at the Lying in State Program held in his honor at the school premises earlier today. “Whenever the name ‘Oyemekun’ was mentioned anywhere, his face would light up. His commitment was not in words alone, but in deeds – in counsel, in support, in prayers, and in resources,” the tribute read. Pa Atandeyi remained passionate about Oyemekun all his life. Atiku Lambasts APC-Led Govt in New Year Message

Dear Fellow Nigerians, I extend my compliments of the season as we welcome the New Year, 2026. For millions of long-suffering Nigerians, the only consolation is that 2025, one of the most punishing years in our recent history, has come to an end. It was a year defined by economic suffocation, political recklessness, and governance without empathy under the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration. The past year exposed, in stark terms, the incompetence and policy bankruptcy of President Bola Tinubu. Governing for months without a functional budget, the administration relied on propaganda while borrowing recklessly, pushing the nation to the brink of economic collapse. Nothing better captures the decay of this government than the scandal of a forged tax law, shamelessly branded a “reform.” Even more disturbing was the President’s refusal to allow due legislative and legal processes to address what is clearly a criminal act.   A government that begins reform with forgery...
