Church of Jesus Christ Fresh Manna Celebrates 17th Anniversary

 


The Church of Jesus Christ Fresh Manna Ministry in Akure, Nigeria, recently celebrated a milestone – their 17th Anniversary – in grand style!


The atmosphere was electric, with praises and worship filling the air as the congregation gathered to give thanks to God for their journey thus far.

In a stirring sermon, Mrs. Theresa Nzeagu Abiodun Orunkoya, the General Overseer of the church, drew inspiration from the book of Psalms 103 and 136 expressing heartfelt gratitude to the God Almighty for His faithfulness and protection. She acknowledged the numerous challenges the church had overcome, declaring that God remains steadfast and true, even in the midst of uncertainty.

The congregation, along with their guests, were treated to a lavish spread of sumptuous meals and assorted drinks, with plenty left over! The joy and fellowship were overwhelming as members and visitors alike rejoiced in God's presence, sharing testimonies of His mercy and blessings.

The celebration was a testament to the church's commitment to their faith in the Lord. As they look to the future, they do so with hope, knowing that the same God who has brought them thus far will continue to guide and sustain them.

  The Oyemekun Grammar School Akure Alumni Association Secretariat was abuzz with excitement over the weekend as the 1971/1975 Set celebrated its 50th Anniversary of leaving the prestigious institution in grand style. The occasion brought together eminent alumni, including Mr. Dayo Aregbesola (rtd.), a former Statistician General of Ondo State, who led the opening prayer, expressing heartfelt gratitude to God for the milestone achievement and seeking divine protection and provision for the set, school management, and the alumni association.
