EFCC Gives Reasons for Freezing Osun State Government Account

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has placed a Post No Debit order on the bank accounts of the Osun State Government over alleged fraudulent handling of public funds to the tune of N11 billion. In a press statement released on Wednesday, the Commission said the action became necessary following suspicious movements of funds from state accounts since August 2, 2026. According to the EFCC, it has been investigating the Osun State Government since March 2026 regarding the alleged mismanagement of Ecology Funds, Intervention Funds, and Federal Account Allocation Committee, FAAC, allocations.  The Commission disclosed that some officials of the state government, including the Accountant General, have been invited for questioning as part of the ongoing probe. "The Commission noticed huge transfers of funds into different corporate entities and had to swiftly halt the trend by freezing the accounts from which such heavy funds are being moved," the statement read. India Air Plane Crash

Pratik Joshi had been living in London for six years. A software professional, he’d long dreamed of building a life abroad for his wife and three young children, who stayed back in India.


After years of waiting for due clearances the dream was finally coming true. Just two days ago, his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, a renowned doctor in Udaipur, resigned from her job. The bags were packed, goodbyes said, the future within reach.


This morning, the family of five, filled with hope and excitement, boarded Air India flight 171 to London. They clicked a selfie. Sent it to relatives. A one-way journey to a new life. But they never made it. The plane crashed. No one survived.



In a matter of moments, a lifetime of dreams turned to ash. A brutal reminder, life is terrifyingly fragile. Everything you build, everything you hope for, everything you love, it all hangs by a thread. So while you can, live, love, and don’t wait for happiness to start tomorrow.

Meet the one truly lucky man, Ramesh Viswashkumar! The man who survived the tragic Air India crash! This is nothing short of a miracle!


A 38-year-old, who was seated on 11A, is now reportedly the only survivor of the Air India plane crash. Reports said he jumped out of the emergency exit.


Lessons

Life is unpredictable. Live life to the fullest while you are still privileged to be among the living. Create your own happiness irrespective of the weight of your sorrows. Being happy serves as a balm that soothes the greatest challenge life presents. Eat well, drink well, dress well, sleep well, smell nice, smile more, dance more, love more, eschew bitterness, forgive those who have wronged you, liberate your mind from bitterness and vengeance, live life once again, live before you die; for life is fleeting...


Life is still very beautiful regardless of the trials you may endure. Your inner tears will surely cease. Believe in miracles; miracles still happen in our lives. Hope is another potent antidote to depression. Believe that all hope is not lost. You can survive and manage every problem. You naturally possess the resilience to navigate and surmount every predicament. Help will inevitably come even at the eleventh hour, often at the most critical juncture.

    "Waiting For Happiness To Start Tomorrow", is a wrong title that would injure the true position of the Pratik family. As the story is presented herein, there was no indication of sadness while they awaited their dream coming true. The true title should be something like: "Tragic Abortion Of Life Time Dream".

    The fact that your goal is never realised does not mean you were never happy while working to attain it. This is a true test of destiny whereby everything lies in the hands of the unseen arbiter !
