– Discloses CCC to Setup Worldwide Security Network
The renowned Nigerian Gospel singer, Supreme Ola Blessing, popularly known as the Soldier Musician, has testified that the Celestial Church of Christ's half-burnt candle (ajoku imole) stopped stray bullets.
He made this revelation recently while speaking at the Celestial Church of Christ, Ondo State Archdiocesan Headquarters, Agunloye Cathedral, Galilee Carnival held at the CCC Grammar School, Aule Road, in Akure, the Ondo State capital. He recounted his experiences on the battlefield while in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, Nigeria, being a real Nigerian soldier, illustrating how divine intervention saved him through the grace of the Celestial half-burnt candle. He said he put the Tuesday half-burnt candle in his chest pocket with faith in the calling of late Rev. S.B.J Oshoffa, the Founder of CCC Worldwide, and that he had no incision for protection on his body. The musical maestro added that he had no faith in idols except the God of 1947, who lives forever. Consequently, he implored Celestians to possess firm faith in the God of Oshoffa with total obedience in ordinances. The testimony was confirmed by his Shepherd, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Kehinde Daniel Dansu, in an interview with Gok Communications.
Ola Blessing, a Superior Evangelist within the CCC fold, expressed his profound gratitude to God Almighty for the honor bestowed upon him as Father Galilee 2025/2026. "It is not by power nor might but by the Grace of God. I do not belong to any club or any association except this Celestial body. I have yet to encounter a program as captivating as this Galilee festival since my arrival in Ondo State", he stressed.
He further extended his thanks to God for selecting him for the recognition, despite his youthfulness and being amidst a multitude of Celestians in the state. He acknowledged the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the reason for the season, as a profound positive impact on the lives of Christians.
The Soldier Musician, who embraced the appointment with joy and gratitude, acknowledged the steadfast support of his Shepherd, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Kehinde Daniel Dansu of the CCC Ileri-Oluwa Cathedral, Ondo Road. He also paid homage to two prominent Celestian vocalists in the state: Mother Celestial Victoria Omodudu Aloba, MPIC, who serves as the Chairperson of the CCC Women Council Fellowship Worldwide, and Sup. Evang. R.F. Akinyosoye. He lauded these celestial musical icons for their unwavering dedication and affection for the church. Additionally, he expressed his appreciation to the Galilee Committee and the CCC Ondo State for the esteemed opportunity to serve in such a significant capacity.
In recognizing Agunloye Cathedral, Akure, as the CCC Ondo State Headquarters, he appealed for absolute respect, steadfast loyalty, and collaboration among the parishes within the state.
Ola Blessing seized this occasion to hint at the ongoing initiative to establish the CCC Worldwide Security Team, designed to enhance order and discipline within the fold.
Also speaking at the event, Lace Superior Senior Elder Sister Abosede Afolabi (FEWA), the 2024/2025 Mother Galilee, extolled God for His grace and urged members to remain committed to the things of God. She prayed for the progress of Celestians and a more prosperous Galilee carnival in the forthcoming year, beseeching God to grant members the opportunity to witness the next Galilee celebrations in greater prosperity and good health.
