Beware of Ondo-Ore Road



– As Motorists Call for Urgent Attention...


The Ondo-Ore Road, currently undergoing construction, has become an exceedingly dangerous route for motorists plying it. 


An eyewitness, who requested anonymity, shared his experience with Gok Communications. "The contractor responsible for the project should please establish accessible entry and exit points along the road, in addition to providing more prominent road signs and diversion signposts to facilitate the movement of vehicles, particularly during this rainy season. Numerous cars were trapped on the road while I was navigating it this evening," he lamented. He therefore implored the government to appeal to the contractors handling the Ondo-Ore road construction to take the necessary actions to ensure a seamless flow of transportation along the busy road.


However, the federal government's vigorous efforts in the dualization of the road are highly commendable. It is indeed a testament to the dividends of democracy, and all citizens should express their appreciation for the laudable project.

Tragedy: Female Student Stabbed Male Student over Dispute

A disturbing incident happened at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, on Monday, leaving the student community in shock. A 100-level English Education student, simply indentified as Aisha, allegedly stabbed a fellow student from the Chemistry Education department with a broken bottle near his chest. The altercation arose from a seemingly argument over phone charging, which rapidly escalated into a violent confrontation. According to eyewitnesses, Aisha had been embroiled in a heated argument with a group of students who had gathered to charge their phones at her villa.
