The authorities of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, have expelled the student, Goddy-Mbakwe Chimamaka Precious, over her assault on the lecturer, Dr Michael Okoye, from the Department of Theatre and Film Studies.

The letter, undoubtedly, is her "Valentine's gift" from the institution. That really serves her right. Justice has been done. However, she ought not to permit it to shatter her, but rather to build her character and evolve into a more refined individual.

Kudos to the institution's management for taking the bull by the horns.
