– As Goke Williams Celebrates His Legacy
– Describes Him as Formidable Business Magnate
Today makes it exactly 30 years Pa J K Fagorola left this sinful world. One of the departed grandchildren, Goke Williams, on behalf of the family, celebrates Pa Fagorola's enduring legacy. In his words:
"I am privileged to have known you before your ascension to glory. You were a formidable business magnate, a legacy that lives on in your lineage. Papa, you embodied love and care in its truest form. Calm, composed, and collected, your virtues of diligence, integrity, and transparency will continue to inspire not only us, your children, grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, but also those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with you in your lifetime.
"I vividly recall, as a young university graduate, my first video jingle advertisement on OSRC TV, which was dedicated to commemorating the remembrance of your illustrious departure — a tradition my father, Pa (Hon) William Fayemo Fagorola, JP, of blessed memory, diligently upheld each year. Consequently, I expressed my desire to undertake this task, but he harbored doubts regarding my capabilities. However, upon hearing the script I composed, he was overjoyed to entrust me with the responsibility. Today, I have scripted and voiced countless jingles professionally, and I remain grateful for the opportunity to honour your legacy.
"Your memory shall remain etched indelibly in my heart, Pa J K Fagorola. Rest on, my beloved Grandpa!"
Pa J K Fagorola, a business tycoon from the ancient city of Akure, died at the ripe age of one hundred and twenty years. He is survived by wives, children, grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace.

Baba JK was a house name in Akure of his days, he was so popular that his children were very proud to be identified with him. Just mention his name anywhere they would give you a second look and say one or two good things about him.
ReplyDeleteMay Baba continue to rest on, God willing we shall meet again.
