The captivating melody immediately caught the attention of the Ondo State First Lady, Her Excellency, Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, a statuesque and elegant figure, who gracefully rose from her seat in the company of her children and stepped on the stage for a dance. This prompted a thunderous applause from the already enthralled crowd as she moved elegantly to the rhythm of Mr 9ice's chart-topping track. The song, "Gongo Aso," still resonating globally, electrified the open-air Dome arena, the venue of the event.

Other esteemed musicians such as King Sunny Ade, KSA, Bidemi Olaoba, Evangelist Remilekun Amos, Daddy Showkey, Small Doctor, and others also performed at the colorful event, where attendees were treated to a sumptuous feast.

Additionally, he clinched the title of Best Hip Hop Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards. 9ice is renowned for his mastery of the Yoruba language in his music, his profound proverbial and lyrical content, and his unique Afro-style delivery.
