Hon Tayo Oluwatuyi is Rumoured Dead

Hon Tayo Oluwatuyi, popularly known as Tuykana, who is serving as the secretary to the Ondo State government, has been rumoured dead.

The sad news broke out earlier today. He was reportedly involved in a ghastly car accident few weeks ago while on his way to Ibadan. Some said he drove himself in a bus and had his neck seriously injured. He was rushed to a hospital in Owo and later referred to an undisclosed hospital at Ile-Ife, as gathered.

Few days ago, his condition was said to be critical and was subsequently flown abroad for proper medical care. Unfortunately, the news of his death broke out few minutes ago all over the social media, particularly on the Facebook.

Born to the family of late High Chief & Mrs Bankole Oluwatuyi (OLISA OF AKURE 1955-1991). His mother is from the famous ELEMO ADEDIPE DYNASTY both from WARD 5 CONSTITUENCY 1 in Akure Oloyemekun.

He atended St David's/Mathias Primary School, Ijomu, Akure. And proceeded to the prestigious Oyemekun Grammar School (OGSA) Akure between 1973 and 1978. He had his education at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) from 1981-1984, where he bagged his first degree in BSC (Hons) Econs/Finance/Mgt.

He was appointed Chairman Akure South Local Government between June 2009 - July 2011 with laudable programmes and achievements. He later became the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs from Sept 2011 to Feb 2013.

He is a grassroots politician with good repute.

Tragedy: Female Student Stabbed Male Student over Dispute

A disturbing incident happened at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, on Monday, leaving the student community in shock. A 100-level English Education student, simply indentified as Aisha, allegedly stabbed a fellow student from the Chemistry Education department with a broken bottle near his chest.
