Queen Naomi Passes out at Security's Net ...Rushes to Hospital, Sister Claimed

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi’s former wife, Queen Naomi’s sister, Simi Oluwaseyi, says Naomi loses consciousness while being interrogated by the Department of State Service (DSS).

Simi made this known on her verified social media handle, breaking silence in a lengthy note. The young lady lamented about the treatment her sister had faced at the hands of law enforcement.

Recall that a few days ago, the tragic stampede at the Christmas funfair organised by Queen Naomi at the Islamic High School, Bashorun, Ibadan, claimed the lives of 35 children and left six others injured. Naomi was subsequently arrested, interrogated, and detained.

Simi noted that all her sister wanted to do was make children happy for Christmas, but things went sour this year. The young lady also sympathised with those who had lost family members in the unfortunate incident.

"All my sister did was trying to put smiles on children’s faces which she has been doing for years. Unfortunately, this year didn’t go as planned. I feel sorry for the children that lost their lives. My sister was arrested and detained for more than six days. She collapsed on the third day when she was being interrogated by the DSS and she was rushed to the hospital. Yesterday she appeared in court and the judgement was for her to be remanded. One of the counts against her was murder. As at yesterday her BP was very high. They took her phones and did not allow any family member to see her. I had to beg for her son to be allowed to see her. She wasn’t supposed to appear in a magistrate court but an high court. Everyone is saying it’s a bailable offence but the law is saying otherwise. They treated her like a terror!st yesterday. Over 40 policemen surrounded her. Only my brother and mum were allowed to sit in court", she posted.

Tragedy: Female Student Stabbed Male Student over Dispute

A disturbing incident happened at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, on Monday, leaving the student community in shock.
