BREAKING: Sowore Has Been Arrested

Newsflash: Omoyele Sowore, human rights activist, has just been arrested at the Federal High Court by the Nigerian police. In a video clip circulated on the social media, he was seen arguing with a set of police men. He was later asked to go with them to the station. Sowore earlier met with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the Federal High Court today. Sowore wrote: "The man is powerful and unrelenting. We greeted and hugged and the bond is strong!"

Has FG Banned UTME?

The viral information that UTME/JAMB has been banned has been rejected by the Federal Government. The press release from the federal ministry of education only modifies some guidelines for admissions into our various tertiary institutions. The viral online report that stated that the Federal Government of Nigeria has put an end to the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has been debunked by the federal ministry of education.  Though some claimed that the rumoured reform was long overdue and that it was a welcome development in the Nigerian educational sector. As over the years, many students have met much disappointment through the cumbersome methods of securing admissions into our various tertiary institutions. They said the bar of credibility should now be raised in the organisation of ordinary level examinations across the 36 states of the federation.
