Newsflash: Omoyele Sowore, human rights activist, has just been arrested at the Federal High Court by the Nigerian police. In a video clip circulated on the social media, he was seen arguing with a set of police men. He was later asked to go with them to the station. Sowore earlier met with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the Federal High Court today. Sowore wrote: "The man is powerful and unrelenting. We greeted and hugged and the bond is strong!" 

The viral information that UTME/JAMB has been banned has been rejected by the Federal Government. The press release from the federal ministry of education only modifies some guidelines for admissions into our various tertiary institutions.
