ONDO GOVT BEGINS COMPREHENSIVE REGISTRATION OF FARMERS

- Govt to set up tractor units in senatorial districts to support farmers In a bid to reshape the future of agriculture in Ondo State, the government has called on all farmers across the 18 local government areas of the State to register in an ongoing, open-ended farmer census. Addressing newsmen at a press briefing held at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office in Akure, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Agric and Agric- Business, Mr. Wemimo Akinsola, noted that the registration is not just a formality but for the government to have the database of the farmers in the State. "We need to know who our farmers are, what they grow, and where they farm and we need to be able to assist. This aims to build a comprehensive database of farmers to enhance food security, ensure direct support, and usher in a new era of structured, data-driven agricultural planning". CCC Ondo State Arch Diocesan Hqrts to Celebrate Easter Monday in Grandstyles

Newsflash The Celestial Church of Christ Ondo State Arch Diocesan Headquarters, Agunloye Cathedral, Akure, is gearing up to celebrate Easter Monday in a carnival-like atmosphere, as shown on the fliers. As the headquarters of CCC in Ondo State, Agunloye Cathedral would be joined customarily  by other CCC parishes in the area, fostering a sense of community, loyalty, and shared faith. The event will feature exciting activities, including: - Carnival procession ( as from 8 am tomorrow at Lafe Junction, opp Bayduk filling station, to the venue) - Music and dance performances - Talent displays - Special church service and prayers - Games and among others  It promises to be fun filled. Easter festive commemorates the trials, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It focuses on the message of hope, forgiveness, love, sacrifice, renewal, and redemption.
